Terms of Service
Last updated: September 17, 2026
1. The service
Woodchuck helps tree care businesses find, verify and dispatch drop sites for wood chips and logs. During early access the service is free and may change. We'll give reasonable notice before introducing fees.
2. Accounts
You must give accurate information and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. The owner of a Business account controls who can access it.
3. Your data and your responsibilities
- You own the data you put into Woodchuck. You give us permission to host and process it only to provide the service.
- You're responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and use the personal information of the people you store. That includes getting consent before texting them, following telemarketing and SMS laws such as the TCPA, and completing any carrier registration (such as A2P 10DLC).
- You're responsible for your use of any third-party tools you connect, and for following their terms.
- Only drop material where you have permission to do so.
4. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service. That includes sending spam, accessing data you aren't authorized to see, probing or disrupting our systems, or using Woodchuck for anything illegal.
5. Estimates
Cost, distance and time figures are estimates based on your settings and third-party map data. They may be inaccurate. You're responsible for your routing and dispatch decisions.
6. Availability
We work to keep Woodchuck available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Keep your own exports of important data.
7. Ending your account
You can delete your Business at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. After a Business is deleted, its data is erased as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
